    what transducers?

I want to install 2 Echomap 93 sv units on my boat. What transducers would be recommended for TM and TR? What map card would I need for Canadian water of Lake St. Clair. Will I need to get a chip for each unit? What else do I need to connect the 2 units together?

Sharing between two of these units is very limited. You can share waypoints, but not maps or sonar. You can share waypoints using NMEA2000 or Garmins High Speed protocol. Garmin's High Speed protocol is implemented by connecting brown to blue and blue to brown in the power cable cluster. I don't know what map card you would need. As far as the transducers go I like the GT52 and GT51 combination. GT52 on the TM. They give you a wide variety of frequency choices so everything can operate and have no interference. Another possibility is to put a PS21 on the trolling motor. In that case I would add a GT8 to the TM unit.
My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.

I have two 93's on my boat now. They came with the cv transducer and I have had zero issues seeing the bottom. I still video game fish. What I mean by that is that when I see a fish under the boat I drop down a drop shot rig or Ned rig. I watch my rig down to the bottom and watch fish follow it down, wait for the bite and set the hook. Big fun.
The quick draw mapping is the best. I just added a ps21 to the trolling motor and it takes watching fish to an unheard of level. I love my 93's...

Just keep in mind that if you get a CV transducer - the ones that are bundled with the MFD are all CV - it will have NO downview element and its downview performance will be less than what you get with the GT transducers.

You should have bought the 95sv if you wanted Canadian maps. They come with the CV52 transducers

Ive fished with both now. I will say i can't tell the difference although I'm sure there is. Just hasn't affected my catch rate.

Note that wpt sharing with these echoMAPs is with High Speed Protocol only (brown and blue wires on PWR cable). NMEA 2000 does not share wpts.
