Southern Chapter - Sign up to fish Eufaula 4-7-2007

Eufaula won! Time to sign up to fish it. We'll launch from Lake Point Marina. At the "left" landing. when you get to the marina store, turn left instead of right. Launch fee is $3.00.

We'll start at 6:15am. If you are running late, CAll ME and I will wait on you. 205-217-0925 Fish size limit will be 14" on all bass for this tourney.

I'll be fishing with dad. So, look for his truck. We'll have the hazard lights so you guys can find us.

From what I see Walter F George (Eufaula) has a 14 inch minimum.

I'm in... Eufaula does have a 14 inch limit on largemouth. Most of the tournaments allow 12 inch spots using the tongue patch as a guide. However some also make it 14" on both. Daylight is about 7:15 Georgia time 6:15 Alabama time.

I might be able to make it, have to drive down that morning, so that is one thing I'm thinking about(3 hour drive I think), also, I'll need a seat if I can make it. I've never fished Eufaula and have always wanted too, sooooo this might be my best bet :)

As a relative new comer to the board i was hoping to fish one of the club txs with you guys . Won't be able to make this one ,due to the fact that our bass club will be fishing that day also and it will be on Eufaula . Spoke with our club president yesterday after he fished the Easter Seals tx on Eufaula and said due to the fact another big tx was scheduled to go out of lake point that sat, that we would change our launch site to probably go out of white oak. so hope you guys well next sat and hope to see you on the water . just look for a bullet bass boat light gray with red flak and a johnson gt 150 on it and that will be me,give me a shout an say hello. will be on mid to lower area of lake now . good fishing guys.

Topper, What club are you in?

Its a very small club that just started up ,called Set The Hook Bass Club. there are only about 7 or 8 guys in it now and a couple fish with other clubs and do tx so they fish with us when they can. i enjoy this club , i was with col bass trackers for awhile and many years ago was with the ga/al club.

Topper, I have been in the Ga/Al club since the late 70's.
Kelly, I will answer for Jason (hope you don't mind Jason). You don't have to do anything special. Read the rules above. Jason can fill in the blanks.

fastr19. So you have been a member since the late 70,s. i was there in the 1977 ,before i deployed to germany. i remember some of the guys ,see them when i fish your tx on lake Oliver. speaking of which it shoud be coming up i think in may.

1. You must be a member in good standing of BassBoatCentral.com. You must have been a member for at least 30 days and have made at least 10 posts in any of the BBC forums.

2. You must have at least $100,000.00 of liability insurance coverage on your boat and keep a current copy of the front page of the policy in your boat showing your name, coverage and expiration date. From time to time the director will assign someone to check insurance papers and anyone not having up to date coverage will not be allowed to fish a tourney until the coverage is in force.

3. At each tourney you must sign two forms. One form is acknowledging your insurance information and a waiver. The second form is to acknowledge the club rules.

Are you guys sure it gets daylight at 6:16 CST???? I was on Mitchell at 5:00am sat and daybreak came at 5:30 and I know the sun meets the horizon sooner in Eufaula.......????

Fastr19 ,sorry it took a few minutes to get back with you ,i was talking with one of the guys from our club and he is now wanting to join the BBC family. any way i hope to be able to fish the oliver tx , always presents a problem as i remember that is the sat before mohters day if i am correct. also i will know more after monday nights meeting . may be able to fish with the BBC guys sat , if our club changes date for fishing. i will start getting my paper work together just in case .

I fished the Easter Seals yesterday and we were not starting til after 7:00. I know it is not light at 6:30. By the way that's Georgia time. We could possibly get off at 7:00. Of course Jason you're a lot younger than I and it might be my old eyes.
