Garmin Express - Unit Registration

Finally trying to register my units so I can address an issue, downloaded GE and it says I need an SD card to register them, what is it referring too?

Put your Sd card in your Garmin unit and it will read what unit you have then open GE and let it read the SD card. It stores garmin stuff on the SD card.

I did not get the SD card to work when doing it that way. Took me about an hour to figure it out and I am even an IT guy.

The steps I took is this:
on my computer using a IE or chrome (whatever browser you want). Log into your My Garmin account by going here: https://my.garmin.com/mygarmin/regis...Validation.htm

Enter in your serial number into the field and click submit. You need repeat that every time for each device, it mentions this in the support article as well.

Once I did that, I logged into my express app and all my devices where there. If you have a HD charts, that will register when you plug it into your computer using the express app.

It worked fine using the SD card method for me. I first inserted card into the unit, powered on, ran through a few menus, powered off, downloaded express, followed instructions and then inserted card when asked.

ok....how do i register a gt52 transducer...have three now, dont ask why.
