New on BBC

Hello everyone! I am a new member on the BBC forums although I have been scanning the Boats For Sale section for a very long time, while I was in TX and here in Bama. I saw a couple of trucks te other day at Beeswax Ramp on Lay Lake with BBC decals, got me to thinking I should meet like minded people near me from off the BBC.
My name is Kelly, born and raised in Bama, and am looking to expand my bass fishing skills and compete more often. Hope to gain insight and possibly new fishing buddies from here. Looking forward to chatting with everyone!

Welcome to BBC, Kelly! I think you'll find that we're really a pretty good bunch of guys that like to get together to fish and, more importantly, have a good time. And don't take Todd too seriously - it seems like he's always looking for someone to hook him up with breakfast before we go fishin' even if he has to make up the rules along the way!

Oh, by the way, where were you in Texas? We lived in San Antonio for a number of years in the early '70's and again in the late '80's and early '90's when we were in the Air Force. We moved to Alabama in the mid-90's and have absolutely fallen in love with it here.

I lived in Austin for about 7 months in 2002, went to Mobile, AL for a year then back to Austin for about another year, then fianlly back to Bama in May 2005. (Long story, aint going into here LOL) I am also a longtime member of the Texas Fishing Forum, but since I am back in Bama I need to connect with local fishermen and get up to speed on the lakes in this state.
And yeah I like breakfast, when someone else is buying!
