I called Danny just now and gave him directions. It's too late for me to call everyone with a location change so we will meet as planned at Town & Country. If anyone wants to drive next door to Lakeside to launch after registering that's okay. In fact, if the water is too low at T&C we all might do that. But for now T&C is the place.

It's supposed to be ready the first part of next week.
I got the crap scared outta me about it last night, though. My wife always checks phone messages when she gets home and there was one there from the mechanic. Naturally, the first thing I thought of was that he found some internal damage and that he had underestimated the cost of the repairs. By this time, though, it's nearly 7:00 and they close at 5:00 or 5:30 so I figured I was going to be bummed all weekend worrying about it. My wife finally convinced me to call anyway and, fortunately, was able to get in touch with him. I was starting to worry for nothing 'cause all he wanted to know was if I wanted the impeller changed at the same time since the lower unit was already off! He stared laughing when I sheepishly told him that I had it changed when I screwed up the lower unit a a couple of months ago and I bet I know exactly what he was thinking......."what a dumbass"!!!
