    carpeting a saltwater model

I am considering carpeting my TX 186 because the sand grit floor wrecks havoc on my gear. Has anyone attempted to carpet a saltwater model and how should I go about doing this?

Try looking at a company Seadek. It comes in different thickness, colors and has an adhesive backing. You can cut it any size.I have a 1999 TX21 with the nonskid deck. You must have a newer model that is rougher.I dont think you can use carpet because the doors on the compartments want latch.
