The wife and I fished our first tourney in our new boat today, we fished Lake Lewisville, their were 28 teams fishing, we won it with 4 fish that weighed 14.70, not too shabby for that mud hole, check out the weights of the BASS Open that was held there a couple weeks ago. The wind was gusting to 30 plus, that Triton 21 HP is awesome, it rides better than my old 21 X2, really tickled with the new ride, we named her Ruby, I think she is going to be a lucky boat.
It probably was not Ruby that any thing to do with catching fish, but it sure does help in rough water. I have 21XS on ordered that should be ready in a couple of weeks. Glad you like your need boat.
My uncle lives on Lake Lewisville, I was going to head down to fish that Open a few weeks ago but things didnt' work out. Long drive from Minnesota.
That is the right way to break in a new boat!

You are lucky you did not make that trip, I fished on the non boater side, two days without a bite, both of my boaters blanked it also.
Yeah, I watched that tournament online, sounded like horrible weather with little bite.
