what prop for 2005 trx21 w/225 opti?

Hey what prop are your guys running on a 2005 TRX 21 with 225 merc opti? Been running a 26p tempest plus. Need to either get it repaired or a new different prop. Thanks. - DC

I have the same boat but an 225 efi instead of the Opti and the 26P Tempest plus is the best I have found. But it is an efi... so I need to make another stop at the gas station. Wish I had an Opti, maybe next time.

I got the same rig running a 26 tempest . When i get the change i'm thinking real strong about a Razer 4 from Mark . From what i have read it is just the ticket .

Ditto.

I also have a 27 tempest and with the 26 I hit 71.5 MPH, GPS. The 27 gets 73.4 GPS with almost the same load. Little better hole shot with the 26 but the 27 is decent, just not quiet as good as the 26.

I have a 25 Tempest +, I do hit the rev limiter sometimes. Would like to try a 26 Tempest +, 25 Fury and a 25 Trophy + to see what they would do...

I agree with a 25 Fury being the best for your rig. I have the exact rig, only 2006 and can run 74.6mph with my 25 Tempest plus. I tried a 26 Tempest and hole shot sucked so bad, not worth it even if it did have a little more top end.

Ive got the same set up 05 tr21x 225h opti. Ive been running a 25 tempest+ and its been good. I just recently took my talon off and raised the motor 1/2in and the next time i took it out it fired out of the hull topped out at 73.7 and hit the rev limiter. I still have plenty of wp so im thinking about getting a 26 and raising it up alittle more
