Are the rebates giving like a visa card or check or only can use to buy lowrance products?

The way I understand it they will mail you a check, but it is one of those "please allow 6 to 8 weeks for processing" things.

I bought an HDS because of the rebate and a week later Gen2 came out. I'm getting ready to order an LSS-1. Do you think they have something new in store this time also?
