triton boat ownership

i bought a triton in july and i wanna fish the triton owners tournament but the boat is not under my name under triton website how do i get that changed to my name that way i can fish the tournaments

im not worried about the $$ as long as i get to fish the tournaments and then have the hull warranty thats all that matters to me

It's free to transfer the registration. $100 would be for Triton Gold which you shouldn't need to fish the TOT. Just call the 1-800 number for Triton and they will tell you how to do it for free. I just did it myself in July

The $100 is to transfer the warranty (remainder of the 3 year if any, and a 10 year hull warranty). Were you the 3rd owner? If so there wouldn't be a $100 charge because the warranty doesn't transfer to the 3rd owner.

I did the same for my TR186 last year. I am the second owner. I paid $100 to get the 10 year hull transfered to my name.
