    Steering hose length

    Anyone know what length is required for a Triton TR 21?

    I'd have to look on my hoses for #'s but I believe they are 16 feet.

    Sooner, Teleflex says: Measure from the center of your steering wheel over to the gunnel. Then measure from that point back to the transom. Then measure from the gunnel over to the center of the motor. Add up those 3 measurements and then add 2 feet. This total is supposed to give you an adequate length for your hoses. I'v never done it, but that is what they say. Good luck
