Probably depends most on what specific performance features you are looking for and which ones you are the most picky about.
If networking multiple units for sonar is going to be important then the 93sv is out.
If down imaging is a top priority then you'll need to but a GT50 or GT52 transducer to go with the Garmin. The one that comes with it is not good for that.
If Panoptix is a possibility then the Lowrance is out and this unit is great with Panoptix
IMO Garmin has the best 2d sonar out there.

My Lowrance units are Gen1 so I can't say about their new units, but I know they don't have Panoptix. Panoptix is a game changer.
