Bassmasters Weekend Series and 4th of July

Deb and I were down in Naples for our annual 4th of July vacation week of real relaxation and low stress. Todd and I fished one day and fed dolphins at the side of the boat and the rest of the days Deb and I went to our favorite haunt up at Barefoot Beach in Bonita springs and to Jabz Gym. Dinners were the usual no reservation needed and steep summer Florida discounts.

I got back home on Tuesday night and then headed up to Champlain for the Bassmasters weekend series out of Ticonderoga NY I came in 16th with 14.71 lbs against a very strong field of full and semi full time pro's. Interesting enough though I don't think I have ever been at a tournament and had such a wonderful positive response from so many people to the Autism Awareness work I am doing. I sold a bunch of decals, meet a bunch of very kind people and drew a great partner who took a great 15 mile ride North from Ti @ 92.4+ MPH in my fully loaded and somewhat off balance to the passenger side rig, could have used a second bag of shot in that front rod compartment but

Only problem of the Tournament was my banging my knee into one of Todd's from Hydromotive's props I use for fishing in the parking lot about an hour and forty five minutes before the anglers parings and then having to use duct tape to stop the bleeding till I could cover the boat and unhitch the truck then drive myself to the ER for some damn stitches :evil:But I made it to the Pre tournament meeting with a couple minutes to spare! Todd those darn fishing wheels are even sharp

So I hope this explains my absence around here :-)
