How often do you have to replace your prop hub for the fat shaft? I just had to replace another one. I am on my forth one in about 3 1/2 years. May be 100 hours total.

I check them carefully after each prop switch. They seem to be weak at the tip and ofter spider crack () at that location. For the most part they hold up, but I would say I switch them out about once ever year or year and a half.
Blair I had the plastic bushing come out of one and the bushing of another one would no longer go on the prop shaft. Then I had one that broke off right where you are talking about. That piece has to be shortened some for one of my props.
They have gotten pricey over the last few years.......![]()
Still running the same one I have had since the Bullet,
I think people over tighten them the only ones I have ever broke were really torqued down. I just hold the prop and tighten them now. and I have not broke any
in a long time. I always try and keep an extra hub in the truck just in case

You're right Connor, I would be very easy to take that the wrong way. But I guess it depends on where you let your mind go.............![]()
