    I like what I see

Spending some time on your site has allowed me to check out alot of your boats and setups. Awsome boats, with some really good looks. The speeds are crazy fast. It seems like most of you take a lot of pride in your boats. I like them alot. I don't think I have ever seen one in person though. I will be keeping my eye out though. I would like to get an up close look. The main question I have is about the rough water ride. I can see they haul the mail in smooth and slight chop. But how do these boats do in rough water? Just curious. These boats have sparked my interest.

+1 and they are stable as heck to boot, and fish great in the wind. Im sure I speak for all Stroker owners, spend a little time in one and you'll be hooked. Ride, fishability, fit and finish, and built quality, factory customer service are top notch.

I dont regret making the switch from a new Stratos to an older Stroker if that tells you anything.

    Re: (ep72)

That does tell me something, because I know that Stratos boats do pretty good in the rough stuff. It would be real nice to spend a little time in one, but I don't know anybody with one or see anybody with one. There is a lot of Tritons and Rangers around here. Including my own Triton. Which I love. I do see one BIG problem though. I love speed and racing of all kinds, so if I ever had a chance to go 100 in a bass boat, I might find it hard to get back in something that goes so much slower. I would be having too much fun to turn back. LOL

Thats what happened to me, I had a 20 ft Cobra with a 300xs that ran 72 empty. I went for a ride with Kurt, 2 passed at 100 and a few at 99.9 and I was sold. Went home and put my cobra up for sale and worked out the $$$ and now own a Stroker since Oct 07. Great ride.

    Re: (Strokerdean)

LMAO. I can see that happening to me as well.

I see that you used to own a Cobra, which are known for there rough water ride. And a boat that I have ridden in. In rough water. And i can say that it was up there with the best I have ridden in as far as rough water ride. How would you compare your Stroker to your Cobra in rough conditions? This would be a great, as it gives me something familar to compare it to.

Thats what did it for me, a ride with Kurt @ 106 and a ride with Blair @ 108 and my old Stratos rig just felt like a boring disappiontment.

    Re: (ep72)

The Stroker is a better ride than the Cobra. It handles the rough stuff better. A good friend that has ridden and fished out of both boats says it's night and day, the Stroker wins out. The Cobra was a wetter ride as well.
Gary, nothing personal. Your still invited to NM to come and play.

    Re: (Strokerdean)

I will say that a Cobra was a pretty wet ride. But did ride smooth. I have the same opinion about Champion boats as well. To date...a Champion 202 was the smoothest rough water ride I have been in. But it was a wet ride. We were in some really rough stuff and were eating it up! I thought it was pretty fun. LOL. My Triton Tr21 does very well in the rough stuff, and is a very dry ride in comparison to many boats I have ridden in.

These Stroker's are very interesting. Super fast and a great rough water ride. I might be falling in love. LOL. I think they are much better looking than an Allison. I have seen some of those in person. I do like the looks of a Bullet a lot, but I am not a fan of the narrow beam. I want to see a Stroker in person! They look sick in photos. I can only imagine in person!

To add to your question is the big motor setbacks you guys run. What does a 16" setback do for rough water rides?

What ever you do, DO NOT go out and ride or fish in one. It will make you very unhappy. And you won't be happy again until you own one.

Re: I like what I see (blair)

I owned a 06 21XDC Bullet....great boat...with same motor that I have on my Stroker...I am a large person..and it has alot of room...the ride is second to none..and the most important thing to me is how well they carry a load..a full tourney load...it will out perform any boat I have ever driven..and im certainly not as qualified as some of these other guys here...only owning mine for 3 yrs...suits my needs well...great boats...now if Chub would just build a 20 footer..with a single console..and a 300...WOW.....good luck
