Port side rear compartment, with the batteries (three optima's).. I've got the Stealth 1 system...
Well that's where I was gonna put it.....but which way do you got it facing? My old one was mounted in the center bilge area at the top on the left side.
Mine is mounted on the back wall, through bolted to the storage box behind the passengers seat.
Mine is currently on the bottom, in front of the batteries about where your blue top is, but I will be re-locating it to where you have yours mounted.
Should go without saying, but I'll say it anyway. Use short screws on the lower screw so it doesn't go through to the fuel tank. The other three aren't in contact and you can use through bolts like Lou has on his.
Lou....how much plastic, fiberglass, and what not do you go thru when you go in thru the passenger storage compartment?
Mine is mounted the same way as Lou's. It's just the storage compartment you have to drill through. Easy. Just pulled a Guest charger out and replaced it with a MinnKota. I also have rubber bushings to dampen vibrations a bit.
My compartment looks the same as Lusicrous's except by optima's are the bigger ones.
It is thin, may be a 1/4" I will get pics for ya tonight, I also used one of the mounting bolts for the charger as a spare prop holder
The Stealth is small enough you can get a threaded rod and go all of the way through and put a nut on both sides to hold it tight and without hitting the gas tank.
