    Resale on a Stroker Boat

got a call just before New Year from an Insurance Co. They were looking for a Stroker To replace one thad had been in a towing accedent.
I had already sold the 98 that I had and we were talking about resale on boats.
He told me that the Stroker had the higest resale of any other boat.
He also said he thought it was in part from Chub not letting them put it in the naba as well as them being a well built boat.
Chub and I were also talking about this and he said that for instance a 99 model was still bringing as much as what dealer cost was on them in 99
    thought that was cool

This might have something to do with them being a boat that the price has gone up the most too... How much did one cost 10 years ago?

Yes they have gone up.. but every other boat has also
I wasnt a dealer 10 years ago but 99 boats are bringing from 14 to 16000 for just the hull and trailer without an engine and Chub was telling me of a 98 that sold fro 22,000 with an engine about 2 month ago.

I know quite a few Stroker hulls that have re-sold for what they sold for new or just a little less.....it still surprises me that you can get a brand new custom built to your specs 100% hand laid rig for 1000s less than a chopper gun cookie cutter...

FYI. I bought my '99 Stroker (loaded), dual axle trailer, nice boat cover, '99 Johnson 225HO in May 2003 for $24,500.

Yeah Kurt, I think Denny Brauer ?? at Tristate Marine in Nampa Idaho had pity on us for driving all the way from Madison Wisconsin to Idaho just to buy a used Stroker (it was worth every mile ).

My bro and I pulled our trade-in ('89 Stratos 275Pro / 1998 Merc 225 ProMax) all the way out there as well. ~3,300 mile round trip, in about 3 days. By the way they acted, I don't think the buffalo in Yellowstone have ever seen a Stroker... Got a few funny pics from that trip. I'll post a couple some time. Life is good.
