That's what I've heard. I'd love to build my Stroker soon. Leaning heavily toward Yamaha power though. Do I grab a hull (since it seems all the used Strokers have nothing on the transom) and slap a Series II on it or wait to see what Yamaha has coming out?
I might just wait and have a 2010 built. Colors I want, power, all new and ready to go.
Still working with the buyers bank on my Contender....SHOULD have the deal finalized sometime today. (it was supposed to happen last Wed) It's really wearing me out. If all goes well I will tow the Contender to Louisiana this weekend. Can't worry about the replacement boat too much until this deal is DONE.
If you plan on keeping the stroker for a long time then wait and get the color you want. But if you are going to turn it around after only a year or so then go ahead and get the boat now.

If you want something on the transom that can be arranged...We would happily put whatever you want on it![]()

As some have suggested, I would wait and see how this new motor works out for the first year or so. IMO, it's risky to buy something right out of the gate. Our specific application with Stroker is much different than most bass boats.
they may stop making 2 Strokes in 2010 but I am thinking you will be able to get a new one till 2012...yamaha went to serial # instead of model years a while back...i bet they have a supply of them already made.....made in 2009 or 2010 call it a 2011 or 2012 ect...
Red Lines at 11,000 rpm's...did I read that right? Whoa!!!!!![]()

There 4 stroke motorcycles red lines just over 16000. Yes 16000. You know how little of a prop you could run? It would break your neck coming out the hole!
