the hydromotives dont run the big numbers there about like a bravo

Sounds like a 32 ET 3 blade will get you would good top end numbers. Not sure if it is good for anything else.

    Re: Re-Prop (spider1)

Hole shot is not very good with the 30p....32p would probably be worse? Mark Croxton is going to massage the hydromotive...a little TLC

    Re: Re-Prop (spider1)

I talked to Mark Croxton this morning....prop is going to him.....he is a super nice guy...never realized that a Bravo and a Hydromotive were basically the same prop..learn something everyday......I know that I can get bigger numbers..with the larger wheels..this quad 4 just carries a fishing load very good..he is going to try to help my holeshot some...Thanks

I've got a 30 4 blade performer, 93. A 30 pitch Bravo tweeked by Tim at Performance, about 88. A 28 with 1 1/4" ventilation holes only, about 86. Need to ty a 30 or 32 3 blade but I also need to lighten my flywheel.

    Re: Re-Prop (strokinrun)

Wayne, did the Hydro have a rpm pulsating issue before cresting over during the hole shot. I have a 28 and 30 q4x that I have been working with that have that issue.

    Re: Re-Prop (Strokerdean)

Dean: I have the same "pulsating issue" with my Hydromotive as well.

I like the 30" 4 blade B/C Performer as my fishing prop it ran 97.4 @ 6050 RPM's with a very heavy fishing load and me solo this spring on my 250 XS with 1.62 Titus Sporty. But Kurt got the prop all tweaked for me when I got it and he spent so much time setting my boat up it may not be a fair comparison?
