    Oil from Exhaust Ports?

I have a 1990 XP 175 that has "oil" that leaks from the "exhaust holes" slightly below the cowling. I have seen this before on some GT motors. Is this a sign of a bigger problem?

Welcome to the boards, depends what you call bigger problems? More than likely the power head to mid gasket is saturated with fuel/oil from over the years and needs to be replaced. You have to pull the head to replace the gasket. $15.00 part $200 labor. All the gasket material needs to be cleaned off the adapter plate and the PH bottom.

Yes, this it was the first time this year. I fish alot of elecrtic only lakes which really cuts down on the fuel bill.
