My day of stupidity, BUT FUN!!

Went out tolake and thought I ran 105 (I didnt), also videoed myself running up to 90 without being able to trim or jack the motor unless I held wheel with knees. Idiot.
Posted videos here and on Fastbass.

I don't come here often but thought I would say hello.

Re: My day of stupidity, BUT FUN!! (1outlaw)

Actually I think I pulled a super surface job!! I was running along with the Fountain and he gunned it and when I didn't get enough response I raised the plate until I had the motor on the back deck and I am pretty sure that the foil broke when I put it back into the water at 85ish. I felt a goofy at that point, but went ahead and ran down the Fountain just to be sure! Sure was trying to get goofy the rest of the trip in!
It actually had weak spots where the big wheels had hit it and maybe that hurt it.
What's crazy is it actually boogered prop a hair! Carbon Fiber is HARD!

the foils tend to bend alittle when the hit the water at over 104 they will flex in the center and a 15" prop will hit them
They are great up till then

Good running, that would be difficult holding a video cam with one hand and driving with the other.
On your foil, did you use hardened bolts with lock nuts?
