Opinions on selling my stratos

Hey guys, I have a question about selling my stratos and i want your opinions. Before everyone jumps on me, I am going to list it on here once i figure out this dilemna.
I have a 200 proxl stratos that i am getting ready to sell. I have two motors and wanted to see which one that most buyers would be interested in purchasing on the stratos. I have a bone stock 225 hpdi that is the same year as my boat. would probably run mid 70s. I also have a 250 hpdi that has all the hydrotec goodies and has a ton of power. With this motor the boat would run mid 80s. but the boat is rated for a 225, so the HP motor puts it over the HP rating. I am thinking that most people buying a stratos would want the stock motor that is under the HP rating so they could fish tournaments. both motors are brand new powerheads with 0 hours on them. whats your opinions on this before i try to sell it?

This is just my opinion but I would want stock. I would think it might depend on who is interested in buying it

Being it's on a 20'+ boat, I'd go with the HP motor. But, only because both motors are out of warranty. I'd just as soon have to pay to fix a hopped up one as I would a stock one.

Oh...and the fact I've been in a 200 with a Hydro-Tec modded motor (Stage 3 and then some). We were at 92 with two people.

USCG frowns on you being over the HP requirements.... But for me, HP motor new 225 decals then zoom zoom zoom

Horsepower stamped into serial number on the engine. Every DNR - Coast guard guy knows where to look.

any boat over 20' is not rated by the coast guard so i am not concerned over that, just wondering what most people would be interested in buying

I have an 08 200XL it clearly states max.. horsepower 225... with that said I would love to have the 250 on mine. talk about hurting feelings. 92 mph

I have passed a few A and B brand boats and it definitely turned some heads.

I gonna buy Glen's more than likely ... It seems like the only boat that would actually fit all my needs. And that sucka is pretty as hell...

if it were me id want the big hp. But you can always sell that motor and get your money's worth out of it. Sorry to hijack the post btw...

gonna run it this weekend at the lake and break in the engine. clean it up and if all does well, list it on here next week or weekend with the HP engine. if it doesnt sell, i will remove that engine and hang the stock engine and reduce price. then i will sell the hp engine.
