    Need info on 2006 200xl.

How it rides in rough water like ky lake, speed with 225 yamaha, and fishability.

I've got an 08 with a 225 Merc. spend a week down Ky Lake last spring during the nasty flooding. Boat has a great rough water ride... Speed with my Merc w/ 8" set back, 27 pitch Tempest 77 gps with 1 person... Tourny load and a 1/2 tank of gas, full livewells I can gps at 74... Love the layout, fit and finish... Dan

I had an '05 with a 225 H.O. E-TEC. The boat was a hot-rod. Ran a original 28 Raker 78 light and 75-76 with a load. Also had a 29 ASX prop that would break 80 light. That was a good prop. Also broke 80 with a 30 Raker but it would barely come out of the hole.

Great running and riding boat. It does take a little stearing input to get the most of it, but man it was fun.

I have a 2008 200 XL with a Evinrude 225 HO. The hull is awesome and is built to handle rough water. I dont think the engine makes any difference with how it handles the rough water once you are up and running. The front deck has lots of space for storage and enough room for two people to fish from.

    Hope this helps!!!

Love my 2003 Pro xl/225 HPDI. It's a dream to fish out of, enuf room for my stuff, and fast enuf for me. 70+

I have speared a few on KY Lake. But it always gets me back! Given the conditions out there at times, I find it hard to believe there is a "perfect" boat. Especially when swells and waves get like that place!

One of the finest fishing and rough water boats out there. Loved my old Jav 400.

i seriously doubt you will ever ride in a better riding boat, with that said i have an 06 200 with 225 hpdi, 26 fury 2.5 below pad and run 74 full load. champion is probably the best ride out there but alot of boats ride good at 45 mph, other than that its a stratos 200/201

I agree with everyone, been running an 06 with an etec 225ho. A blast to drive and handles the rough stuff as good as any. I really hope Stratos brings this model back, seems like everyone that has run one, loves it! You will too!

Had some prop work to a 28 pitch txp and have seen 79.8, mid 70's tourney load, and NO blow out. Robbie at Propeller Dynamics is amazing!
