    Bolt Torque

Does anyone know the torque specs for the transom to jack plate bolts on a 294? The jack plate is a 6" slidemaster with a 200 Yamaha HPDI Series 2. Mine seems to have a little more space than normal between the plate and hull.

    Re: Bolt Torque (Tony Poore)

60-70lbs ought to be good. Everyone should check them as well as all other nuts and bolts on the JP and steering as part of PM every few months. Thread locker is good to use for piece of mind.
