I'm looking at trading my 275ProXL on a Renegade 19. My boat has a 90 Johnson and the R19 has a J150PLSSC Johnson 150 on it. What can you guys tell me about this combination? What can I expect on top end with it? It has a jackplate and 4 blade renegade prop. I appreciate any info y'all can supply.

i have the same boat,man j/p,and 3 blade 24 raker and see roughly 59 ish pending on load
It may be a little underpowered with that 150. I just sold a Renegade 19 with a 175 ficht on it (Originally came with 175 Johnson.). I wish it had a 200 on it, but is only rated for a 175. It would run 63-65 with a Raker 24 with 6" jack plate. It was slow out of the hole with every set up I tried. It was a heck of a ride though. It rode super smooth and handled nice. Mine was a 2000 model. It has an awesome fishing platform. Also, the fuel tank is behind the rear storage, so you can visually look at the gas tank to determine how much fuel you have. If I could have changed one thing about my Javelin, it would have had bigger livewells.
