It appears I have both live wells losing water now, one does real fast, the other does more slowly. I sprayed a hose up them backward hoping to clean out an intrusion w/o any luck. So I guess its rebuild tome for them.
Anyone rebuilt their valves?
I know there is a kit, but is it a huge pain?
What all has to come out to access them?

I just had the same issue. Like the above post, I just replaced the entire valve.
My 285 XL has LOTS of space so getting to everything was no problem.

i just rebuilt both the valves on the 201. its pretty easy, not too much to the valves.
I've also replaced the valves. Also check to make sure that cable has not slipped out of the stop on the valve. If it has, then it might not be pulling the valve all the way closed like it should.
