    RAM Mount for echoMAP 73

    What size ball RAM mount would you recommend? I imagine the longer the arm the bigger, but that's about all I can really be sure of. Would 1" models be enough?

    Personally I like the ram swing arm mounts much better. Super solid and never move, but if you need a ball mount 1.5" minimum.

    I used the 1.5" ball with RMS-1095 mount for my 73sv. No drilling required. I power the FF with Li-ion drill batteries. This is for my Nucanoe Frontier 12 kayak.

    The 111 universal base will fit with no drilling, but if you have any rough water ahead I've been told they may fall over and to use the bigger d mount.
