1997 201 PEDC Questions

Hello all, This is my first post here but I am looking at the above mentioned boat with a 200 Johnson. I am curious as I can not find a solid answer when searched.

Is this boat all composite as in the transom and stringers? I am looking to get away from wood as the thought of taking a cap off a bass boat intimidates the heck out of me.

Is there anything I should look for on this boat that is a known problem. I would be buying it from a friend and I knew the person who owned it before him. I have never fished in this boat because the guy lives in SE Missouri and I am in Nebraska. Please let me know your thoughts or ideas.

Is $8k a good price?

I have not hear , any thing bad about that boat . They are not as fast as the newer boats . I am not sure on the all composite on that year boat , but around the 97 - 98 year they started the all composite boats?
