my stratos has not had a kill switch the whole time i have owned it. it runs and cranks all day without one. i have decided to fish the bfl this year and the state federation tourney. i know this will have to be in working order to do so. what will i have to do to fix this or just what do i need to do?
What kind of controls do you have on the boat?
Stock should have facility for a kill switch to hook a lanyard to...
Does it hook on the ignition switch below your leg to the right? If so mine was bad and I had to replace the ignition switch.
I also have a 98 295 pro elite, The place for the kill switch is right in between the keyed ignition and the throttle lever.
i can't remember off hand where it is located. it is being recarpeted right now but i was going to fix it when i get it back. i was just wondering what i needed to do.
