    Nashville Boat Show observation

Several very nice rigs for good prices in todays market. 2016 Ranger 520c for 61k, 2016 Phoenix 921 for 55k, 2016 Skeeter 20ft for 55k. All loaded up and well rigged.

Interesting thing I noticed was a throttle pedal on a Ranger. Was mounted under the console just like a car gas pedal, not like a hot foot. First time I've noticed anything like this. Was wondering if it was an electronic throttle or a cable.

    For $61,000, probably not a G2.

Yep, a new G2. First one I've seen. Probably explains the reasoning. Thanks for the info

Yep, the neat thing about the G2 is you can switch between the foot control or the hand throttle with the touch of a button on the I Com display along with setting auto trim.

That is cool. It removes my biggest gripe about the hotfoot with regards to fatigue in the leg/foot on long rooms.

That wasn't what caught my eye, it was the auto style gas pedal that I liked. All the Mercury rigged boats had the standard Hotfoot.

Nope, they had some serious deals. They had a base 921 for 55k and the top end, loaded up with poles and everything was around 74

I'll leave it alone. This could be the one bright spot for BRP in the past 15 years. Give it time. Verado had been proven for many years. I suppose if you need a 10 year warranty to sell.... Always mad trying to chase the leader.

Remeber...that motor is not in competition with the Verado. 2 stroke vs 4 stroke.
