Does anyone have a CD version of the FICHT diagnostic software that they no longer use, or know where I can get it cheap. I'd like to be able to run the diagnostics on my laptop and not have a dealer involved. Also, does anyone know the pinout of the interface cable?
i always see them on ebay for abour $60 for everything.

It's a 3 wire Duestch (sp) connector on one end and a 9 pin serial connector on the other. I don't know how the wires hook up .
I got one on Ebay for about $40. Just make sure you have a laptop with windows 2000 or older. Or if you download and make a DOS boot disk you can use that to boot a newer PC into DOS . I can email you the software if you want and you can make a cable. I can open my cable ends to check the pinout.
