I personally don't like the styling of the newer Stratos as much as I like the 2003 & 2004 models. Just seems to me the rear storage sucks as it's definitley looks smaller than on a 285 or 285 Magnum series in those years & probably just an optical illusion, but the rod lockers don't look as big to me. Are they ??? Don't get me wrong I like Stratos better than about any other brand, but when looking at them lastnight at the fishing seminar I went to I looked them over hard & was kind of disappointed. Of course I've always had a dual console too. May be what's fooling me.

Storage is fine on the new ones. My old Jav 400 rear storage and 294 are nearly identical rear storage. Probably not a bit of difference from the 03-04 boats. I like the evo consoles better than my 294 classic which has a but ugly console IMO.
