99 was the 1st year that Javelin went all composite. That was also the year that they changed the lay out on the decks and the name of the boats 389=Renegade 19, 400= Renegade 20,the 17 footer was called Venomn

I am not Todd but if my information is correct a few of the Stratos line went composite in 97 and then the rest in 98. It was 99 before Javelin went all composite and they switched the entire line in 99.
Was it an option on earlier models? I bought a 96 400se javelin and the dealer said it was all composite. close cell foam or klegicell or something like that.![]()
In 97' the 400's went all composite and in 98 the 389's went all composite as well. I don't recall about the 379's or 409's.
