Hydraulic Steering Line Length?

I am going to install a sea star kit on my boat but need to know what length hoses to get. I have a 1995 285 Pro XL. Has anyone installed this kit and know the hose length?

I just put hyd in mine. Junior at Pitstop A BBC sponsor helped me with mine. Best price as well $825 @ my door steps. He sent me 16' and while 14 may have worked the extra let me route it just where I wanted and it made a nice U out of the gunnel around the console and straigh in to the helm . I would highly reccomend Pitstop and 16 foot

U need this much in the back which threw me off as my old cables where like 12'

16' for sure. 14' will probably work, but will be tight.

Just wondering if you have a jackplate? I'm not to sure you could tilt the motor without one.

Yea, I have a 6" hydraulic... I definetly could see it not fitting without one
