    Re: Long Gone........... (barchief)

I feel better about the entire situation now than I did before I left. Knowing who's going to be at the helm of Stratos/Champ is a big reason.

All my 2010 Nitro's are gone and I still have an 09 201 Evo on the ground.....not sure the public feels the same way.

Jason Bragg is the best news in this entire sale/restructuring.

There is no one who knows the customer/product/dealers better than Jason Bragg. He is one who was behind the scenes with Champ and Stratos.......one of the ones who made everything fit together. He also doesn't possess the Ranger mentality....as long as they allow him to run with the ball I think this venture will work out well.

I also watched a very good man leave Champion as the brand manager cause Genmar tied his hands and wouldn't let him advance the brand.

Knowing the right direction and actually headed in the right direction are two terribly different things!

Jason is a GREAT guy and one of the best CS guys out there. I think it is great that he is still involved. He has taken on a huge responsibility though and I hope he has surrounded himself with some smart people. Brand Manager is a different animal from Customer Service. The knowledge is great, and I hope the lack of experience in this capacity is overcome quickly. Luckily his office with Stratos/Champion was just down from the previous Brand Managers. I'm hoping he learned what to do, and more importantly, what not to do from them.

    Re: Long Gone........... (Todd Morgan)

Without a doubt Todd will do what is best for his customers and while keeping the business at a level to support them. He has taken care of me when he was a die hard Triton dealer while I ran Champion, while he was a Champion dealer and I was still running a Champion, and was a HUGE help when I had Mercury problems on my BassCat. Todd took care of my old Yamaha while he was still putting up large buildings. Dude knows how to run a dealership!

IMO He will carry a brand that has good quality and allows him to service customers. The name on the side is secondary. Just my two cents worth.

BTW Todd, the beach post was just a tease without pics.
