2008 stratos speeds

Does anybody know what speed a 2008 201 runs with a 2010 250 pro xs on it?

Should be around 77-79 loaded I think. if you set it up it will run low 80's light load

I have a hydro plate, and a 27 fury.

What size plate? What are your current #'s? RPM, MPH, pad to prop height, h2o pressure?

The motor is being put on as we speak. I have an 8'' bobs jackplate. I'm guessing that I'll be high 70's, based on what I'm read. I was just curious if somebody had the same setup, and knew for a fact what they are getting.

I finally got to run the motor, and I get about 80mph out of it. I think I could do 81-82 with a really light load, but I'm getting an average of 79-80.

Saw the Randy Howell video at the Mercury web site and he's getting just over 80 on his Triton tournament ready in cold weather. He's running the 27 Fury and plans to run a 26 Fury in the hotter months of the year for better fish loaded results.
