300 etec x250 HO

hi folks
in your opinion, two identical bassboats , one with a 250 HO and another with
the 300 short shaft , witch should be the fastest?

I'll go out on a limb here and say the 300,if it's putting out 300 The 250 HO should be around 275,with the L2 case you could get a couple 3 mph more, the 300 has the low water pickups and would let ya raise the engine more.....JMHO

sorry dude, but I don,t think it was a stupid question , both are 3.4 l , and I
doubt the 300 has 300 hp, besides the 250 ho has the hi performance gearcase

Egas, I would be willing to bet the 300 would be closer than what you think. JMHO But, I will defer to the gurus on this one. Ken aka Liquid Nirvana could prolly help you on this question. Please let us know what you find out.
