jackplate help-advice

I have a 2000 stratos vindicator with a johnson 150 same year motor fun little boat,anyways i would like to get a jackplate what do ya'll recommend and what would i gain, I do know i would like a manual for one thing but i really dont know much about them i appreciate any advice given thanks and god bless

6" slidemasters are good plates, there are a few used ones in the forsale forums.

CMC makes a good one that is pretty easy to adjust on the water.

Langford, I've got the exact same boat and motor!, My used 6'' slidemaster just arrived today and will be installed next Tues. I'll let you know how it works out. What gps mph are you getting now and what type of prop are you running?

never had gps on my boat but i have had it at 60 mph and am running a 24 raker
