First experience with C and O

Placed an order with C and O over a week ago for some In Stock non skid. Was told by the nice gentleman that took my order, name, CC # and shipping info that he would put it in the mail that day or no later than the next. Sounds great right?? I called this morning to check on the order because I am 2 postal days away and the order should have arrived by now. Well, No one could find the order..........left my name and # with them and they said they would check on it and get back with me. Waited 3 hours so I decide to call back. I was directed to call a certain individual, which I did and explained the situation again.....When I finish she says in a very apologetic tone that "your order has not shipped" What? When I ask her what happened it was like the person that took my original order was standing right over her and she could not say. I asked her if it was ''The Boss" that took the order and she said yes. Sooooo she promised to get the order in the mail no later than tomorrow. I'm not sure what to make of the situation. Every one I spoke with was very nice..just poor execution.

I feel like navel lint.......unimportant and insignificant...

C&O #1 or #2......need to know so I can make sure this doesn't happen again.

We're absolutely slammed but that's no excuse. This dealership has gotten where it is by giving our word and then sticking by it.

It was the #2 store that dropped the ball. I am taking measures now to make sure it doesn't happen again and I apologize with all sincerity.

I wouldn't accept that outcome if I was a customer and I don't expect you to either.

Must have been a fluke thing. I have ordered several items from C&O and they are top notch and will help you out anyway possible.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Sincerely. Please keep in mind that this is probably the busiest time of year for these guys. Personally, I wish C & O were closer to home so I could do some business with these folks whenever I could--for the simple fact that they have taken the time to respond to so many of my (and others) questions about our rigs. Sounds like they are taking a proactive approach to your issue. Best regards.

Todd, Craig- way to step up. As a satisfied customer, I do know this is not normal for your business and was the one in a million incident. Also, both of you responded very well to a comment that was posted on an open forum. Very classy on your part Just reminds me of why I drove several hours to deal with you and your staff.

Only problem I have with C&O is that they are not closer to SC.

Re: First experience with C and O (Hubb702)

C and O's attention to this post is amazing and should speak to their credibility. I had an issue recently where I called an owner of a company to get his help in expediting an issue, and was told, verbatim, that he was off to a meeting and didn't have time for me. I just chuckled. Shi**y service trickles down to their staff. I mean, c'mon, at least lie to me and tell me you'll handle it! :)

I need to call c and o about a stratos tach today before they sell out...

Just the number of people that have drive from the tidewater, va. area to purchase boats speaks for it self of how well the service is.

I know I'll look that way if and when I ever decide to sell my boat and get another one.

sorry to hear about your experience, alexus. i've dealt with c&o a couple of times and they have been very friendly, helpful and prompt. i am on the left coast and would do more with them except they are on the "other" side of the country. still, i look at their site first when i need something.
