Opinions think it's worth $5000.00

1991 201 Pro DC with 91 Johnson 200GT. The motor had complete overhual 3 years ago. 3rd owner always kept inside. Current owner has all maintance records since his ownership"3yrs" and the rebuild records from previous owner. Everything in good working order except both fishing electronics? He is unsure why...No cracks or weak spots. Just a big solid boat. Deal made to purchase Friday morning.

If it's all solid I'd say its worth it....but I'm a little biased because that looks EXACTLY like my boat...mine has the silver and burgundy swapped

I've had mine for 8 years and have been very happy...its a SOLID boat w/ a great ride...mine runs around mid 60's loaded, and that GT200 likes drink up some gas...

a lil to much if you ask me, i would try and see if i could get it around 4000. those are still great boats though.

I got a 1990 285 last year. Really like these boats, ride great, and built good. Mine was in excellant condition, came with a smaller motor (175) and I got it for 4200.
This winter I did tons of upgrades, including new carpet, LED lights, and new electronics. If the boat is solid, I would go for it, trying to haggle him down of coarse.

I just bought a 1990 stratos 201 pro with the same motor you got, single console, dual axle trailer. It's extremely clean and I give $6000 for mine because of the excellent condition and it has lots of bells and whistles.

What setup are you running? Speed and rpm?

I've got a 6" manual jackplate...set @ 3" below pad....25" Renegade prop....5800-5900 RPM 63-66 mph (GPS) depending on load.

66 was just me empty livewells and about 15 gal of gas.....62-63 w/ full livewells 25 gals fuel.

I used to have a 200 GT on a 92 295PXL. That was a fast outboard, but I had a lot of carb problems with it and what a gas guzzler.

I paid 5300 for my 1992 201 pro DC with the same 200 gt on it. Also has a dual axle trailer. Mine is absolutely immaculate and I feel I got a great deal. That motor is a gas guzzler tho for sure. It gets expensive if you're runnin and gunnin. I can do 62 on the gps with me and a partner in the boat. But I dont have a jackplate, just a crumbly ole shooter prop.
