Thinking of buying a 285XL w/ a 175 Yamaha 6" jackplate

I was quoted $25,900. Boat is fully loaded, hotfoot, protrim. Does that sound like a good price? Any good or bad things with this boat?

I haven't owned a Stratos since 1995. Coming out of a 16.5 ft Skeeter with a 90 Yammie. Should be a little faster

Seems like a decent deal, I'd go for it , in the next few years they aren't going to get any cheaper... so I would buy now if you are in the market....

I have had my 285 for a couple years now. I could not be happier. Mine runs around 62 w/ a 150 HO Etec and a 6" jackplate. Should get a couple more mph with the 175.

For a couple of grand more I got an 09 294 XLE w/ 200 Yammie. I am picking it up next Saturday, Thanks for the info and help though.
