stratos 20 ss extreme prop?

i have a 01 stratos 20ss extreme with a 225 evinrude rude ram. need to know the best prop that i can rig this boat out with. wanted a raker(omc) hard to find and i hear they crack easy. several people have told me about the turbo txp 26p 4 blade. im running a 27p renegade now and the hole shot sucks and top end wot fastest ever is 70.6. i want a better hole shot and mid 70's. several people are getting this speed on here and i want all i can get out of my boat. was about to order turbo and someone suggested a temptest. now im undecided again and need all the input i can get. not spending a crap load of money on a race prop though. just want the best prop i can get in the 500 range. cheaper the better.

I have a 22 extreme with the same engine and i run the Raker, I also have a Tempest and the Raker just does better with that combo, the Tempest i have is a little better out of the hole but about 3 mph's slower, i have run several Rakers and never had one crack i run the 24 but you can run a 26 I bet. that is how mine does anyway. Here is my set up same boat and motor. 6 inch jack plate with hole shot plate. Prop set at 3 1/4 inches below pad. Running a Tempest Plus that was worked by Mr. Mark C. boat will run at 74 on gps, but you gotta work to get it there.

Mbroussard, If you looking around for Rakers make sure their original Rakers & not the Raker II. Original is a lot stronger & a very good prop.
