dinger i have the same boat i bought a rod organizer and it didnt work real well with spinning rods and longer rods i just put covers on the rods and put in the locker it is alot easier to deal with
I have the same boat w an organizer. Takes up too much room. Use the rod jackets w/o organizer and it will work a lot better.
Had the same prob with mine just ordered Stick Jackets for all my rods and works real well now.
For those of you that use Stick Jackets or some other rod cover, do you leave lures attached and if so do the covers go over the lures ok? Also do you use any kind of reel covers when just laying all your rods loose in the locker? I want to try this but I like to leave my rods rigged and was wondering how you all deal with that issue.
Dont bother with the rod organizer on this size boat... Rod covers work much much better. Stick jacket or similar product should only cover rod, not lure or reels. It may cover carolina and texas rigs or other low profile baits. For topwater and other crankbaits I use lure covers from Bass Pro.. They are nylon covers will velcro edges - Inexpensive and keeps trebble hooks covered. I don't usually bother with the reel covers, but probably should.. Hope this helps...
