Hot Foot suggestions?

Well the wife put the foot down on trading in my boat so I am stuck with my 285 for awhile, so figured I would do some upgrades. I am looking at adding a hotfoot on my 285. Can anyone suggest a good one, one where the cable isn't in the way. I did a search and there are tons of post on hotfoots but not many stratos specific so I would like to hear from stratos owners. Would like to add the pro trim as well if you can suggest that. Also finally, (i know this is a dumb question probably) but I read a post from 1nicestratos that all 285's come standard with hydraulic steering? Mine is a 2007 model so it has it?

Look at your motor where it mounts to the transom of your boat. There will be a hydraulic cylinder running parrallel to your transom that will say SeaStar Hydraulic Steering System (or something like that). There was a year (and it may have very well have been 2007) where Stratos dropped it as standard equipment to keep the cost of the boat down. They brought it back though rather quickly.

If you don't have it, you will have two cables coming out of the rigging hole in your boat that come up and mount to a steering mechanism on your motor. They'll mount one on top of the other.

I have a 07 285 no hydro steering next time I have a grand sitting around its going in though
