i have a stock 99 stratos 273 with the 1999 Evinrude 150, a Raker 24 pitch prop and NO jackplate, with 2 guys and gear with a 1/2 a tank of fuel, we hit 64 MPH GPS, but it just starts to chine at that speed (worse with just me), it seems to have a little more, with a jackplate and one person, is it possable with the right setup it can reach 70?
i pickin up a 6" high jacker jackplate soon, hopin it will help with some of the chinewalk.
