Difference in Clearvu transducer and GT52 HW?

Whats the difference? Is the Clear vu a updated version of the 52? I was looking for a pic of the Clear vu and the dimensions.

Minute technical differences but mostly just a name change. Dimensions should be the same.

I asked that exact question to Garmin. I ended up getting the 93SV with the GT52.. transducer. But here's what the Garmin person said:

"ClearVü is the new name for the fishfinder presentation that was previously called DownVü, and CV refers to the new transducer design offered by Garmin. ClearVü technology replaces DownVü and though the technologies are similar, when paired with a CV transducer, ClearVü will provide a wider image than DownVü. For combo units that include a transducer in the box, ClearVü transducers offer a wider view of what’s under the boat. This wider view will provide more detail of fish and structure beneath the water, but is more limited in depth performance.

Essentially, the transducers are very similar. The ClearVü transducer has a wider beam angle than the GT52HW-TM. If you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to contact us."

I have one, but didn't bother to take pics because it looks just like the GT52HW. I can add some pics later if you want.
