What do you mean "blended DI"?

Unless you are using a transducer with a dedicated DI crystal, the DI is composed from the returns of the left and right SI crystals.

I think it's a dedicated DI crystal. I was told the new transducer won't work with the G1 units.

If they are coming out with a G2 Onix ..... It's gonna have to be REALLY special to top the G2 Helix.

What do you mean "blended DI"?

(Imo)there's alway been an issue with there not being enough power (strength of return)in the overlapping area of the two si peizos.maybe this helps now

Prices are on the Bass Pro Shops website with the G2N models being $100 more than the original Helix and G2 models.

The new ducer enabling Mega is more like the Onix-ducer. Specific elements for Mega-SI, normal-SI AND DI. So no more funny-DI on the SI-units using that ducer (9,10,12.)
