Can someone tell me the total # of persons stated on the capacity plate? On the Stratos website it only says: Total persons, motor gear 1200 lbs.

I have an '06 and the capacity plate states 4 persons.
I also have an '06 275 and it says:
4 Persons or 596 LBS.
1200 LBS Persons, Motor, Gear
125 HP Motor

I'm really considering this boat as it's probably the widest boat I can get that'll fit in my garage (20 feet) and wanted to make sure that I can take my wife and 2 kids. It's sounds perfect :)

I had a 2004 Stratos 275ProXL with a 115 Johnson on it and loved the boat...It fished really big and handled great also....Me,my wife, and her friend tubed on it alot last summer and it had no problem carrying 3 adults...
If you are limited on garage space and are looking for a boat that is a great ride and stable with 4 people, the 275 is a great choice. I have an '06 with a 115 Yamaha that will top out at 51 (GPS...1/2 tank fuel and 1 person). I have thoroughly enjoyed mine from the day that I bought it.
How shallow can you guys go with your 275's?
I can't tell you the exact depth that I've been in, but I can tell you that I have been in places that many of my club brethren only wish that they could get to in their bigger boats. I would venture a guess that I have been in about a foot of water with the motor up and running light.
