I am guessing that you mean a deck extension? I am getting ready to do mine. My plan is to make make it from aluminum and easily removable. I will post up some cad models here in the next few days. I am going to use snowmobile sliders to support the sides so when it is removed they can stay in and not be grabbing legs and shins so bad. I have seen people use angle aluminum for the support but think that would be a bad idea if you ever want to take the extension out to fish more people (I pan fish alot so....)
I may end up going with marine plywood, but if i can brace the aluminum and find a nice sheet of .25 inch aluminum I am thinking it will be lighter and of course last alot longer.
Still kind of not sure what will be the best route....
