Javelin question 387 vs 389

I am thinking of buying a 95 Javelin 387A as its listed...I had a 389 and loved it.

I cannot find any info about the 387 except generic stuff

My big question is how does it differ from a 389?????

the length etc appear the same but I don't want to rush in until I know

Seems like the 387 was just a less expensive 389. Things like no lid lift pistons, maybe a cheaper grade carpet, etc.
